I've tried to put your sentences into GT. GT's translation is the next two sentences.
Location of a flat-screen wall-mounted TV in the living room.
A flat-screen LCD TV is leaning against the wall in the living room.
I suppose this is the matter you should decide yourself; because we're all on your side, ours might not become fair for its judgement.

イラストには、居間の壁に薄型液晶テレビが立てかけてあります。このテレビの位置を英語で答える問題でした。
正確な答えは The TV is on the wall in the living.だと思うのですが、解答例では The TV is on the wall.
しかし、居間にあることを考えるとThe TV is in the living room.も正解として有りうるのかと思い、皆様にお尋ねする次第です。
