税制と会計というのは非常に密接な関係がございまして、今の日本基準は、非常に税制と馴染んでおりますけれども、これらに関する制度、企業の国際競争力など深い関わりがあることに注目し、さまざまな立場からの意見に広く耳を傾け、会計基準がこれらにもたらす影響を十分に検討し、同時に国内外の動向、世界で一番経済体として大きい国でございますから、特に米国をはじめとする諸外国の状況等を十分に見極めながら、総合的に成熟された議論が展開されることを大臣として望んでおります。
