【教えて下さい】「私の家族は、夫がいま...」の英訳

「私の家族は、夫がいますが、子供はいません。」
の翻訳結果について、
「My family has a husband, but there is not the child.」
となったのですが、あっているのでしょうか。
教えてください。

主語は私、の方が自然かも。
I have a husband but we don't have a child.です♪
