分詞構文の並べ方について

Question

when節 や if節 のように、分詞構文の節も、このようにカンマを省いて主節の後に置いてよいのでしょうか？

Taking a bath this morning,  I heard the door knocked.
 
I heard the door knocked  this morning taking a bath.

「今朝お風呂に入っていると、ドアを叩く音が聞こえた」

よくないです。後に置くなら言葉を変えます。

I heard the door knocked this morning when I was taking a bath.
