悲劇になってしまった、潜水艇の事故のニュースをテーマに悲しいのですが、英語として教えて下さい｡ 以下の上部は先日意味を教わったのですが、まだ、話法と助動詞と時制がしっかり理解出来ないので、下部の直接話法に変えてみました。下部は英語になっていますか。また意味は変わっていないですか。
原文の間接話法

この文を直接話法にした場合、

→ 時制の一致を考えると、ここは will と考えるのが自然です。
banging noises picked up by search teams cannot be interpreted as
→ ここは原文が直接話法なので、cannot です。
anything but human, if indeed the noises does come from inside the vessel.”
→ ここは時制の一致で、didでなくdoesです。
つまり、He が言ったことは、
“Nargeolet, an experienced explorer, will ensure that the banging noises picked up by search teams cannot be interpreted as anything but human, if indeed the noises does come from inside the vessel.”
となります。
この語りがあった時点で、乗員がまだ生存しているという想定での発言ですので、「彼だったら絶対こうするよ」というニュアンスでの発言だったと考えられます。
