長所は人の話をよく聞くところです。この姿勢は職業柄、人と関わる機会が多い母から習得しました。母は話を聞くときは内容に合わせて声のトーンや対応を変え、日頃から笑顔でいることが多いことに気づき、それらを真似して行うようにしました。すると、相手からより多くの情報を引き出せるようになり、相談に乗る機会も増えました。この経験から相手に寄り添う姿勢と、親近感のある雰囲気を作ることを大切にし続けています。その一方で、相手から聞いた情報を素直に受け入れすぎてしまうことがあります。実際に、大学で所属しているまちづくりのゼミ活動において、地域の方から聞いた情報に誤りがある事に気づかず、ミスをしてしまったことがあります。この経験から、新しく得た情報は自分なりに吟味することも大切であると学んだので、正確に情報を見極めるよう気をつけています。

My strong point is listening to people cordially. I learned this attitude from my mom, who works for various people. I realized that she changed her tone of voice according to circumstances when she listened to others, and she was always smiling. I tried to copy her behavior toward people. Consequently, people have come to talk about many private things to me, and my opportunities to offer advice to them have increased. Thus, sympathizing with others and being friendly have become my essential principles.
On the other hand, I give credit to person's story easily. Actually, when I was interviewing local people about community activities, I didn't notice that their answer included incorrect information. As a result, I made a mistake at a seminar of the university. This experience taught me that considering a new information in my own way is important, so I always make sure whether information given by others is correct.
