私が訳すと　もし私が明日あなたと一緒に昼食を食べない。　という意味不明の日本訳になってしまいます。

③　If not もし～でないなら　で　Can you lunch with me tomorrow ? If not , what day would suit you ? 訳　明日　昼食をご一緒してもらえませんか。都合が悪ければ何日が良いでしょうか？で、参考書では
Can you lunch with me tomorrow ? If not , what day would suit you ?
[ ＝ If you cannot lunch with me tomorrow . ] と書いてあります。
＝なのに、上の If not を使った文とどこが一緒なのかと思います。
