as + 形容詞 の語法
ある大学の入試問題に、次のような一節がありました。
The meaning of a dream was seen as derivable from the past life of the person who had had the dream, and not a message from a god, from the spirit world, or from dead ancestors.
この文の意味はとれますが、1行目の as derivable という語順に疑問があります。この as は前置詞なので、後は名詞が来るはずですが、上の文にはありません。どう考えますか？また、as 以下と and not a message ～ は並列と判断しますか？それにも疑問があります。並列の原則から外れているように思えます。（並列関係は同じ種類の語で成り立つ。）

おっしゃる通り、前置詞 as の後には名詞が来ます。この場合、“a dream which was” が省略されています。

省略しても意味は十分に通じますし、同じ単語を繰り返さないですみます。その方がすっきりします。

I see his essay as an essay which is deeply influenced by his father’s ideas.

I consider Finland’s decision to join NATO as a monumental decision for the security of the region.

は、as a dream which was derivable from… と並列です。
