バカな質問ではないですよ。可算名詞と不可算名詞の区別は文化的な一面がありますので、英語を学習していると何度も考えることです。一般的に感情というときには、不可算名詞の emotion です。でも、具体的な状況での感情を指すときには、an emotion とか emotions のように数えられる名詞になります。
