文法的に間違いなのでしょうか？

先日、テレビ番組でイギリスと日本のハーフの芸能人が次のように言っていました。
When I first heard it,
I thought the very catchy and positive song.
It encourages everyone to get up and
dance together.
I'm very happy to be able to share this song people in Japan and across the world.
しかし、字幕では
When I first heard it,
I though it was a catchy and positive song.
It encourages everyone to get up and dance together.
I'm happy to be able to share this song
with people Japan and across the world.
と表記されていました。
芸能人の方の英語に文法的な誤りがあったから字幕では修正されたのでしょうか？
そうだとすると、何が間違っていたのか教え頂きたいです。
