文章の形

上記の英文において空欄部分は"much"が入るのは分かるのですが、", "の後のlifting〜は、文章としてはsales of digitalが主語で、liftingはwhich was（？）などの形が略されて入っているのでしょうか？
基礎的な文法構造がわからずにすみません。
