（人を惑わせる静寂が一段と深まると、物語では、幽霊は生きている人間と同じような見た目、ふるまい、声を持つものとして描かれる。
さらには、幽霊を車で拾ってしまったうかつな運転手達に対して、幽霊は物理的な交流すら行うのだ。）
