考え方の変化

直訳すると、

The number of people who think that being fat is bad increased.

ですが、これだと主語が bad までになり、長すぎます。それと、fat は、やや蔑視的なニュアンスがあるので、もう少し客観的な overweight や obese を使います。また、「いけないこと」に wrong を使うと、道徳的に間違っているような意味になるので、他の言葉を選びます。

以下、参考にして下さい。

More people think that being overweight is a problem.

More people understand that being overweight is a health risk.

More people are aware that obesity has become a major concern in our society.

日本語の「増加した」は、現在のことを指していると解釈しました。もし過去の話（例えば、90年代に）であれば、動詞を過去形に変えてください (thought, was, understood, were, had) 。

People are increasing who thinks fat is wrong .
