「公助」ということばが載っていないと言うために、term を入れました。また、（２つのうち）どちらの辞書にも載ってない、と言うことで、in neither of を使いました。neither of what?と言う部分で、一般的なgeneralと言うよりも辞書は権威がありますのでmost authoritativeを使い（the が入ってないので最高級ではない）その後でその辞書の具体名を列記しました。

英語の修正を考える前に日本語の意味を正しく捉える必要があるのですが、この部分の日本語は「そして共助ということばについて、これら3つの関連する言葉が利用され始めた時間的な変遷からみると，まず互助の活用からはじまり，それが共助へと変化し，互助と共助を併用することで双方の語彙の意味や定義に混乱が生じ」というところまでは理解できるのですが、その後の「近年厚生労働省では「制度化された社会保障」とされています。」の意味がわかりません。
