Under pretty good control の意味は?
I am a person who is having Weblio Eikaiwa lessons on weekends. I found this expression from the Weblio Weekly news article, "China resumes domestic travel as COVID-19 spread is contained". I couldn't grasp it's meaning, so could you tell me the meaning of this expression?

"Under control" is an idiom. It means that an emergency (or something bad) is successfully dealt with. In this case, "pretty good" (very good) is inserted in the middle. I have not read the article, but it must be saying that China is handling their COVID-19 situation very successfully. No more outbreaks.
Mr. Trump will never get COVID-19 in the U.S. under control.
He needs to get his anger under control.
