Several features of SHRP are new to U.S. research programs. It was established by Congress as a limited life, user driven, highly focused, competitive, product-oriented programs to be carried out by the non-profit, private National Research Council, the operating arm of the National Academy of Sciences.
この中で"highly focused"の適訳が分かりません。文意も考え「高度に集中した」「特化した」「集中と選択を経た」など考えました。自分としては「特化した」かと思うのですが、ご意見いただきたく、お願いします。
