how以下が感嘆文のhow 形容詞 svになると考えているのですが、そうするとなぜその後にto V~ が続くのか分かりません。お教えいただければと思います。

何に喜んでいるのかの説明が「to 動詞」以降です。例えば、

I'm happy to meet you.

これを「how happy...」で始めると、

How happy I am to meet you.

「あなたに知らせたい」という意味の言葉を前に付けると、

I'd like to tell you how pleased I am to meet you.

ご質問の文も同じです。

We are pleased to have a team of sales representatives.

これを「How pleased...」で始めると、

How pleased we are to have a team of sales representatives.

「君たちにしってほしい」という意味の言葉を前に付けると、

I want you to know how pleased we are to have a team of sales representatives.

次の文と比較してみてください。ほぼ同じ意味ですが、喜びの度合いは上の「how pleased」の方が高いです。

I want you to know that we are pleased to have a team of sales representatives.
