なぜresultが続くのか。

上記の文章で、何故the past yearのあとに名詞のresultが続いているのか分からないでいます。文章構造的に、前置詞がないと続かない気がするのですが。教えて頂きたいです。

Sales of Taylor Electronics have increased substantially over the past year, (which is) a result that some analysts ATTRIBUTE (ATTRIBUTED) to the CEO's strong leadership.
というふうに、which is が省略されているのと、
some analysts の後に動詞が抜けているので、おそらく attribute（もしくは過去形で
attributed）などの動詞を入れる必要があります。
