最後の「or not」よりも、「renew」の反対語を使う方が分かりやすいです。

The company has the right to renew or terminate the contract of each temporary worker.

しかし契約を更新、または解約する権利は当たり前のことなので、これだけでは「so?」と疑問が湧きます。

例えば、

… at any time it deems necessary.

… after the monthly performance review by the supervisor.

のような言葉が続くと、情報として価値があります。

Students go to school.
当たり前のこと

Students walk to school in groups of five at least.
情報として価値がある
