ゲーム実況を見ていたら銃の音の話になり

”and then you have this one which apparently does more damage.
but listen to it.
doesn’t hit quite as hard does it.”

と言っていたのですが
doesn’t hit quite as hard does it の意味がわかりませんでした。
教えてください。

何と比較しているのか ( …の部分) 、ご質問中の文だけでは分かりませんが、その前に話していた銃だろうと想像します。it は銃弾でしょう。その前に話した銃と比べて、破壊力は増しているのに (does more damage)、音を聴くと、銃弾があまり強く的に当たっていませんよね、ということです。
