Sesshi nido miman made ageru.
2度未満まで上げる
(increase)

It sounds weird in both English and Japanese without the context. The initial temperature seems to be already in the target, so why does it have to be increased?

It would make more sense if it was “decrease to below 2 degrees,” and we would change the last word we in Japanese.

Sesshi nido miman made sageru.
2度未満まで下げる
(decrease)
