necessarily に対する語を英語に訳すと？

Question

not only but also の用法に習って、

「必ずしも～ではなく、～ということもある」 という英文を作るのに、not necessarily とする場合、but の次にはどのような副詞が来ますか？

It is not necessarily A but (   ) B.

「それは必ずしもAというわけではなく、Bということもある」

または、このような使い方はなく、but it is B too. や but it is also B. でしょうか。

but の後に rather を入れてもいいですが、なくてもいいです。

It is not necessarily A but (rather) B.

しかし意味が違います。

It is not necessarily A, but it is necessarily B.

ということになってしまいます。これは、A が B に含まれる場合にのみ可能です。

It is not necessarily beef but some kind of meat.

It is not necessarily next week but any time in October.

「Bということもある」であれば、こう言います。

It is not necessarily A. It can also be B.
